Circunomics has created a technology and analytics software that is able to carefully monitor and predict battery conditions; crucial considering that more than 60% of energy storage demand could be covered by second life supply of EV batteries in 2025.
What They Do: By 2030, there is estimated to be 200-300 million electric vehicles on the road. However, this also means an increase in battery demand. To be fully sustainable in this transition, German based start-up Circunomics has a solution: to drive green mobility and new energy by optimizing recycling of second life batteries through data. They have created a technology and analytics software that is able to carefully monitor and predict battery conditions; crucial considering that more than 60% of energy storage demand could be covered by second life supply of EV batteries in 2025. Circunomics’s artificial intelligence solution enables smart databased decision-making, including all relevant data points of each battery as well as the market situation – turning waste into value. The re-charge we all need!

Moment Energy targets the growing market of EV battery circularity. Their solution is clean, affordable, and reliable energy storage by repurposing retired electric vehicle batterie.
What They Do: Moment Energy is targeting the growing market of electrical vehicle battery circularity. At their end of use life, EV batteries retain around 80% of their original capacity. The second life use in energy storage applications extends the lifetime of existing batteries before they eventually can get recycled to raw materials. Moment energy wants to help you reduce your energy costs while contributing to our planet’s health by pairing with renewable energy systems, to allow users to have zero-emission electricity. Their solution is clean, affordable, and reliable energy storage by repurposing retired electric vehicle batteries – it’s a win/win.
