With a software-based, digital infrastructure for circular product take-back, numi is supporting companies to become more sustainable and face the increasing scarcit.

What They Do: No return? No way! The estimations reach from 10,000 to 300,000 belongings in an average western world household. A second or third life for products is scarcely intended, more precise only 8.6 percent of the world’s resources are reused. With a software-based, digital infrastructure for circular product take-back, numi is supporting companies to become more sustainable and face the increasing scarcity. Currently in the pilot phase, numi teams up with brands within the product segments of fashion, sports, and kids equipment as well as tools and supports them to set-up, manage, and track individual Take Back programs. By gaining access to used products, companies can open up new revenue streams through re-commerce, remanufacturing, or recycling. A win-win-situation the Munich based couple wants to establish broadly in 2023.

French start-up GreenBig has developed an innovative solution that simplifies the collection and recycling of plastic bottles with a touch of gamification: the b:bo.

What They Do: Did you know that each year around 480 billion plastic bottles are consumed in the world? If we continue like this, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish by 2050. GreenBig, has developed an innovative solution that simplifies the collection and recycling of plastic bottles with a touch of gamification: the b:bot. They are the start-up that is revolutionizing recycling by bringing economy and ecology together. Their objective? To create solutions with a highly positive social and environmental impact, based on an economic model without subsidies or eco-contributions. They offer cost-effective and concrete solutions, deployable in the short term and on a large scale. With 390 b:bots already installed and 80 million bottles recycled, b:bots are multiplying throughout France and soon even abroad!
