On Monday September 25th at 17:00 CEST our first virtual Trend Tour of the season took place. We heard from two start-ups on their circular mobility solution.
In the rapidly evolving landscape of transportation and urban development, the concept of circular mobility has emerged as a pivotal solution to address multifaceted challenges.
Consider this fact from the United Nations: urbanization is an unstoppable force, with over 55% of the world’s population living in urban areas as of 2021, and this figure is projected to reach 68% by 2050. Such rapid urban growth inevitably leads to increased congestion, air pollution, and energy consumption. The conventional transportation models that have propelled our societies for decades are showing signs of strain under this mounting pressure.
As we stand at the intersection of environmental consciousness and technological prowess, the need for innovative solutions in the realm of circular mobility has never been more urgent.
